It’s a fact: Vino’s good for the heart (and soul). So it was only fitting for a crowd of oenophiles to throw back a few for their tickers at this year’s Wine Knot tasting soirée and support the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women initiative with every sip. Pacific Premier Bank joined the effort as the event’s inaugural sponsor. The wine flowed—selections from Erath, Stag’s Leap Cellars, Antica and Chateau Ste. Michelle were among the nectars—and the food delighted. (Because the perfect pairing for wine is cheese!) The live music and stunning views from the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club further added to the scene, and guests took every opportunity to look out on the water with a glass of the good stuff in hand.
