Good Artitude

Seven million dollars. That’s the amount that must be raised every year by Orange County School of the Arts in order to continue funding the nonprofit conservatories it offers. And the attendees at its annual gala helped out in that effort. They also enjoyed the best of the arts—the event was themed ARTrageous Rock, after all. Live and silent auctions, and dinner were just a few of the features, but the real excitement came when more than 250 students took the stage at the Hyatt Regency Irvine—the locale for the party—for an amped-up performance. Spotted among the crowd (and in the spotlight): alumnae Kaitlyn Jenkins of ABC Family’s Bunheads, and actress and singer Nina Herzog, along with VIPs Jennifer Condas, and Missy and Chris Callero. The final tally totaled nearly $900,000, ensuring that the arts are alive and well in O.C. Photos by Eric Anderson and Cheryl Walsh
