Over the past nine years, Share Our Wine Foundation’s vino auction has given more than $1 million to local children’s charities—thanks to the oenophiles who come together to savor sweet nectar for a good cause. And the latest showing was no different: Some 400 wine-lovers filled Segerstrom Center to sample generous pours and bid on top bottles. The silent and live auctions featured palatable picks from the guests’ personal collections and helped generate funds for four beneficiaries—Cystinosis Research Foundation, Festival of Children, Orangewood and The Shea Center—making the event a tasty testament to the organization’s continued success. –Photos by John Hibma and Kendall Photography
