Full Circle

| July 2, 2012 | Parties National

Hope filled the hearts of all who attended Hoag’s Circle 1000 Founders’ Brunch, which celebrated its silver anniversary this year. And, for a fifth consecutive year, the committee raised more than $1 million for the Hoag Family Cancer Institute. Adventurer and author Alan Hobson took the stage at the Island Hotel to share with guests how his determination has taken him to the highest peaks of Mt. Everest—and helped him “climb back” from a bout with cancer. But the most moving moment was the performance from 17-year-old cancer survivor Taylor Carol, who sang a rendition of “The Impossible Dream”—a piece reflective of the organization’s achievement.
