Food Fight!

Melt-in-your mouth homemade potato gnocchi and braised lamb paired with a textural, tasty pop from curried granola and fried kale—sounds delish, right? It certainly was, and it earned Chapter One’s culinary pro Jason Montelibano the winning vote at Riviera’s To Live & Dine Chef’s Challenge benefiting CASA. Also on the table were a decadent bite of duck (and other delights) from ARC’s Noah Blom and a smoked bulgogi Philly steak sandwich, which Charlie Palmer’s Seakyeong Kim coolly cooked over a flaming barbecue. That’s just a sampling of the food forked out for the crowd of 700, who packed the alfresco courtyard at The OC Mix at SoCo to feast upon the flavors while throwing back a sip or two.
