Flicks for Funds

| November 7, 2012 | Parties

A sold-out crowd of 1,400 packed the house at Edwards Big Newport Cinemas to watch the highly anticipated O.C. premiere of The Bourne Legacy and enjoy a night of flicks, food and fundraising—all part of Hoag Hospital Foundation 552 Club’s annual movie screening soirĂ©e. Guests noshed on selections from top restaurants like HoSum Bistro, Bluewater Grill, Muldoon’s Irish Pub and Sabatino’s Sausage Co., and a few lucky folks left with fabulous prizes, including a trip to the Four Seasons in Lana’i. The biggest winner, however, was Hoag: The day of reel-life wonders raised $215,800 for the medical center. Photography by Laura Swendson
