Flavor Fest

| November 3, 2014 | Parties

It started with an amazing take on tuna tartare and ended with an irresistible Italian ricotta crustless cheesecake—and it was all the work of Harlow’s Aaron Anderson. He was one of the top culinarians who cooked tableside for gourmands at the American Liver Foundation’s Flavors of O.C. bash at the Fairmont Newport Beach. Pizzeria Ortica’s Justin Miller and Selanne Steak Tavern’s Joshua Severson were also among those who delivered a dose of delish. But it wasn’t just about the food: Host chef Brian Doherty and Dr. John Hoefs were recognized for their dedication to the nonprofit’s efforts to cure hepatitis and other liver diseases. Good taste, indeed. –Photos by Candace DeRossett Photography and Michael Haight
