O.C.’s stylish set got a glam glimpse at the fashions of the fall before the first hint of autumn touched our shores, and we owe that peek to the Nordstrom Designer Preview, an annual affair that raised $45,600 for the Orange County Museum of Art along the way. The night of fashion—at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, natch—began with drinks and nibbles in the courtyard, followed by the main event in the ballroom. Here, models donned in labels like Akris, Gucci and Valentino strutted down the runway in front of Leslie Cancellieri, event committee members Kay Bright and Christina Ferguson, and some 300 others, who later whipped out their plastic to snap up frocks, coats, shoes and purses.
