At First Blush

| May 22, 2012 | Parties

Ladies and gents donned hues of pink and gathered at the Festival of Arts grounds—outfitted in kind—for Komen O.C.’s annual gala, which raised funds for breast cancer services and research. The Pink Tie Ball drew 390 of O.C.’s finest, including Riviera Men of Style honoree Conrad Metz, Min Ji Clark and Yard House Restaurants’ Harald Herrmann (along with his wife Courtney), who was recognized for his ongoing support of the nonprofit. But he wasn’t the only man of the hour; the evening featured the inauguration of seven new Pink Tie Guys, like Mission Hospital’s Kenneth McFarland and Bob Abbott (aka artist Jerome Gastaldi). Guests also enjoyed fine cuisine, cocktails, and live and silent auctions. The night netted more than $360,000—putting Komen O.C. in the pink.
