Firefighter model at AnQi
Costa Mesa firefighters set the runway at AnQi ablaze during Fashion’s Night Out, and a full house, including VIPs Janet Nguyen, John and Patricia Wang, and Zoreh Salimy, fanned the flames. The hunks hit the catwalk donned in the latest fall designs from Bloomingdale’s at South Coast Plaza, a hotbed of activity with parties and runway shows galore at stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Chanel, Papyrus, Anne Fontaine and Cole Haan. But it was the AnQi event that really heated things up. Tagged Fashion, Food and Fire, the evening benefited the Costa Mesa Firefighters Widows and Orphans Fund. Those who paid $150 got a seat right alongside the catwalk. (The price tag for general seating: $55.) Adding fuel to the fire, guests sipped specialty cocktails and nibbled on Asian-fusion tapas as the models strutted their stuff. Too hot. Photos by Reza Allah-Bakhshi and Robert Rooks
