Fight Night 20

| May 23, 2018 | Parties

Fight Night 20 punched up a cool $400,000 for the Marconi Foundation for Kids and Caterina’s Club.

THE PARTY There was no doubt that Dick and wife Priscilla “Bo” Marconi would be pulling out all the stops for this year’s Fight Night; it was the 20th anniversary, after all! THE GUESTS KTLA’s beloved weatherman, Mark Kriski, surprised guests as this year’s ring announcer as they settled in to enjoy a three-course Italian-inspired meal by chef Bruno Serato. USC star quarterback Sam Darnold, and Olympic medalist brothers Michael and Leon Spinks, upped the evening’s star factor as amateur boxers went head-to-head in the Marconi Automotive Museum. THE HIGHLIGHTS Perhaps the night’s toughest competition came during the live auction. On the block? Two VIP guest passes to the 2019 Formula One Monaco Grand Prix Circuit in Monte Carlo (that sold twice for $18,000 each) and a sweet pup named Rotini (Michelle Noto nabbed him for a cool $17,000). The grand total? More than $400,000 for the Marconi Foundation for Kids and Caterina’s Club. Talk about a knockout! -Allison Mitchell
