Feeding Frenzy

| September 12, 2014 | Parties National

A who’s who of the culinary world descended upon the Montage Laguna Beach for Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation, an alfresco affair that’s among the most satisfying in the county—not only because it serves up cuisine from star chefs near and far, but also because it raises funds to end childhood hunger in America. Foodies filled their plates at stations manned by the likes of Nina Compton of Scarpetta Fontainebleau and Greg Daniels of Haven Gastropub. When bellies were full, gourmands bid on auction items and grooved to the beachy tunes of the Kalama Brothers. The day brought in $200,000—and that’s the icing on the cake. –Photos by Christian Sosa
