Fashionable Fete

| March 19, 2014 | Parties National

It was a two-night affair filled with O.C.’s most glam gastronomes when Fig & Olive finally opened its doors at Fashion Island—and, oh, what a party it was. The first evening took guests on a culinary trip to Italy, followed by an edible journey to France. Private dinners in the establishment’s posh white room plied palates with the flavors of the French Riviera and flutes of Veuve, while a lineup of luxury autos (think Porsche, Bentley, Ferrari and Maserati) provided plenty of eye candy. And then there was the informal fashion show from Neiman Marcus, which showcased the retailer’s couture collection. So, who was spotted on the scene? Richard Galy, mayor of Mougins, South of France; Executive Chef Pascal Lorange; and locals Craig and Traci Medici, Steele Platt—the A-list goes on. –Photos by Reza Allah-Bakhshi
