A Fab Fiesta

It was a night of celebration when Hispanic 100 held its annual Lifetime Achievement Award Gala at the Island Hotel. The lady of honor: ImpreMedia CEO and Chairwoman Monica Lozano, who praised her parents for her success. “They inspired me, and gave me character and values,” she told the captivated crowd of 370, who raised a toast to her efforts. A live auction, meanwhile, gave away goodies like a Sonoma Wine Country vacay and tickets to an Anaheim Ducks game, and Tower of Power lead singer Larry Braggs kept the dance floor hot. By the end of it all, about $90,000 had been netted for the nonprofit’s mentor program—and that gives us another reason to party.
