Over the past six decades, the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana has helped 70,000-plus underserved youth—and this legacy was feted during its Be Great Gala at the Newport Beach Marriott. Some 320 local dignitaries were on hand to celebrate. They sipped martinis, enjoyed jazz and Spanish guitar performances, and bid on fab auction prizes. The sponsor-a-youth program even brought in a whopping $35,000. Guests also helped honor the MacPherson family with the DreamMaker Award for their dedication to the charity’s continued success.
