Just in time for Carnival season, Cure has set up shop at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, offering revelers exclusive cocktails and cuisine through March 31. The globally acclaimed bar out of New Orleans was created by CureCo. managing partner Neal Bodenheimer in 2009 and has since earned a spot on North America’s 50 Best Bars list and a James Beard Foundation Award.
Neal Bodenheimer will do a cocktail demonstration at the Cure pop-up on Feb. 12.
Lucky for us in Orange County, The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, is now the only local place you can find exclusively crafted Cure cocktails. Try chef de cuisine Irving Nunez’s cacio e pepe deviled eggs and crawfish croquettes with the Roffignac (a produce-forward take on a French 75). Mocktails are also available if you’re extending your Dry January.
Different flavors of king cake will be served at the King Cake Party on Feb. 12.
Stop by the pop-up on Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. for an open-to-the-public King Cake Party, where Bodenheimer will show off his cocktail-making skills. Sips will be served alongside complimentary slices of King Cake by executive pastry chef Abigail Naguit. In the spirit of New Orleans, a live jazz band will set the soundtrack for the festive night. No reservations are necessary, and you can view the full Cure menu here.
