This new brick-and-mortar store is offering innovation when it comes to the shopping experience. The carefully curated mix of vendors embrace the classic Santa Ana flare by hosting its locals in a community-centered retail store.
All-in-all, the new retailer has 25 vendors selling products like art, clothes and vintage fashion, plants, coffee and jewelry among others. Collective2one9 is creating a new way for small, independent businesses to step from behind the e-commerce screen and showcase their products in real-time.
The masterminds behind the unique shopping experience are its creators, Ryan Chase and Dana Jazayeri, alongside manager Alejandra Astoquilca. The group wanted the shop to support and encourage local businesses and entrepreneurs.
“We saw the need for a space to host all of the young, local entrepreneurs and small businesses looking for a storefront, and wanted to uplift our community, “ says Ryan Chase in the press release, “The goal of Collective2one9 is to provide brick and mortar opportunities to small businesses looking for a cool, walkable area that represents their brands.”
The multi-vendor retail spot also has ample space to host community events and activities. Some of the confirmed vendors include Ana Secret Society, Soap Barrio, Suavecito, Taly Co. Boutique, Unlisted and Vibes Boutique.
“What sets us apart from others would be our relationships with artists, makers, and the consumer culture,” says Dana Jazayeri in the press release, “It’s not the products that define us but the work that is placed into curating and acquiring the selection of goods we offer.”
The grand opening for Collective2one9 is Saturday, Nov. 5. It is located at 219 E 4th Street, Santa Ana. Check out the shop's Instagram to stay up to date on its vendors and events.
