The thrill of street sports culture meets the magic of Cirque du Soleil as the performance group brings its 41st original production to Orange County for the first and only time March 18 through April 19. Enter VOLTA, a dazzling show written and directed by Bastien Alexandre that features Cirque’s signature high-flying acrobatics, jaw-dropping acts of strength, and whimsical moments of comedy and entertainment. Bright and bold costumes by Zaldy Goco (who’s dressed stars like Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson and Britney Spears) light up the stage while a rousing score by Anthony Gonzalez (of electronic group M83) keeps things lively. The Behind The Scenes package (from $495) includes a backstage tour, a meet-and-greet with select performers, an exclusive suite, a cocktail reception, appetizers and reserved parking.
