THE PARTY Advocates and friends of Segerstrom Center for the Arts gathered at Isamu Noguchi’s California Scenario sculpture garden for the 2021 Candlelight Concert Kickoff Party. The intimate affair precedes the anticipated return of the center’s Candlelight Concert, a black-tie fete scheduled for Nov. 30. THE PEOPLE Candlelight Concert honorary chair Elizabeth Segerstrom, along with co-chairs Britt Meyer and Carol Perry, and SCFTA President Casey Reitz welcomed the well-heeled crowd to the outdoor fete, where festive cocktails flowed and delicious appetizers were enjoyed. THE PINNACLE Entertainment by L.A. Dance Project, led by choreographer Janie Taylor and visionary Benjamin Millepied, delighted as the firstever site-specific performances to take place in the garden. The fun continued as singer Brenna Whitaker and her Little Big Band serenaded the captivated audience under the stars.
