Here's your inside look at Byredo's exclusive luncheon at Pendry Newport Beach, held on Friday, Nov. 3.

Guests enjoyed lunch at The Pavilion at Pendry Newport Beach.

THE PARTY In celebration of the grand opening of its new flagship store at South Coast Plaza, Byredo invited a select group of just 35 guests to an exclusive luncheon at The Pavilion at Pendry Newport Beach. The beautiful new boutique marks the Swedish brand’s first brick-and-mortar in Orange County, where its popular fragrances, makeup, leather goods and accessories are now available. The one-of-a-kind store is the 13th location for the brand, which was founded in 2006 in Stockholm by Ben Gorham. Uniquely, the "13" can be found in the "B" of the brand's logo and is a nod to Gorham's former basketball jersey number.

THE PEOPLE Montage International Vice President of Communications Kacey Bruno welcomed the well-heeled guests to the afternoon affair. Among the day’s attendees were Modern Luxury Riviera Orange County Women of Style Katie Miller, Nicole Tinkess and Isabelle Hedoux, power couple Keith DuRoss and Nick Gannon, and South Coast Plaza’s Kedric Francis, among others. Excitingly, Byredo President Robert Sorce and Head of Marketing Alison Zimmermann were also present and thanked the attendees for their ongoing support of the brand.

THE PINNACLE The three-course luncheon featured cuisine by Pendry Newport Beach culinary director Ben Martinek. Guests enjoyed a kale Caesar salad, a choice of honey chipotle-glazed king salmon or mushroom orecchiette pasta, followed by a beautiful pavlova filled with pistachio cream and peach compote. Each attendee was gifted a fragrance and candle from Byredo to commemorate the day. How’s that for afternoon delight?
