Daniel Kim and Joel Solomon hosted a night of firsts for Make-A-Wish O.C. and Inland Empire during its Cornerstone Event. Some 170 high-profile attendees gathered at Kim’s Newport Coast manse for the inaugural affair, which celebrated the launch of the Cornerstone Society, a new program for fulfilling dreams for local kids suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Guests dined on delights from Montage Executive Chef Rob Wilson, enjoyed a performance from former wish recipient Taylor Carol and listened on as those touched by the nonprofit shared their stories. And the eve ended with more than $100,000 raised—a first step in the right direction. Photos by Bob Ortiz
