Belles of the Ball

| April 9, 2013 | Parties

Two dozen philanthropically minded young women left their college campuses and headed home to Orange County to celebrate their formal introduction to society via the Laguna Beach Chapter of the National Charity League’s Debutante Ball. The gala marked the end of six years of volunteer work with agencies like Special Camps for Special Kids, J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center and South County Senior Services. And helping the community stands at the core of what the National Charity League is all about. Each year, the chapter’s 300-plus mother-daughter members give about 12,000 hours of service. And that’s certainly worth celebrating. Photos by Leslie Bird,
