Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters gross $270,000 with the annual Celebrity Benefit.
THE PARTY
It’s become an annual tradition that’s now 3,000 strong. The tradition: the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters’ Celebrity Benefit. The 3,000: the number of patrons who gathered on the green for a rousing concert featuring the multitalented Jane Lynch, The Office’s Kate Flannery and Glee vocal arranger Tim Davis. Before the entertainment, guests browsed the artwork on display. And after the song and dance, the crowd moved on to the Irvine Bowl to take in the magic of the tableaux vivants.
THE GUESTS
Lynch, who played host to the gathering, was joined by fellow celebs like Joe Mantegna, Donna Mills and Perrey Reeves.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
Just before the curtain rose on the pageant (this year’s show was titled Partners, and it featured live recreations of famous paintings and sculptures from around the world), Fred Sattler (the fest’s board president) shared upcoming plans for an exhibit area remodel, and then Lynch announced the winner of a 2016 Acura TLX valued at $35,662—that went to a very lucky Eleanor Luckett.
