Beach Bella

Angela O’Brien left Orange County in 2008 to explore the world with her husband, Jim. She returned a year later full of creative inspiration and a desire to launch her own line of clothing, bags, baubles and home furnishings that you’ll find under the brand name Cleobella in stores like Fred Segal and Kitson. But when the time came to open up her own store, O’Brien chose to do it in a cozy 1920s-era cottage in the quaint coastal enclave of Sunset Beach. Some 250 friends, fans and neighbors, including Malia Damo, Megan Zacks, and Troy and Lindsey Holmes, popped into the grand opening party to help celebrate with sips from ONEHOPE Wine and tasty tidbits from Fork in the Road catering. And each guest left with a gift—one of Cleobella’s casual but chic shoulder bags. Photos by JoieLala Photographie
