There was so much more than Earl Grey served during Adoption Guild of Southern O.C.’s Patroness Tea at Big Canyon Country Club. The 300 ladies (and a few gents) nibbled on mini quiches as models donned in styles from Neiman Marcus added color. There were drawings for prizes like a $2,500 Neiman Marcus shopping spree (that went to Gianna Riley). And Laura and Michael Bozek gave it all meaning when they shared their story of heartbreak (losing their first two children) and joy (now parents to their adopted baby, Maxwell). The last pour? Since 1961, the nonprofit has raised $4 million- plus for 3,000 adoptions. Tea service, indeed! -Photos by Ann Chatillon
