Henry Segerstrom. It’s a name known to many in the farthest reaches of Orange County and beyond for his impact on the arts, philanthropy and that little retail development we adore, South Coast Plaza. That’s why the Stanford Professionals in Real Estate—aka SPIRE—group inducted the beloved local notable, along with San Diego’s Malin Burnham, into its hall of fame. Held at the Westin South Coast Plaza, the SoCal induction banquet drew VIPs like Maria Hall-Brown, Debra Gunn Downing and Segerstrom’s wife, Elizabeth, who joined SPIRE’s members for drinks and dinner, and to congratulate the developer on building the pathway to O.C.’s future.
