All That Jazz

| May 22, 2012 | Parties National

More than 400 Pegasus School supporters donned their best 1920s-inspired togs and roared their way into the ballroom at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort in Newport Beach for the private Huntington Beach academy’s annual Spring Benefit. There were flappers (Ida Baniassad, among them) and jazzy gents (like Claude Yacoel), and of course plenty of dancing, cocktails and dinner. A live auction and fund-a-need drive for scholarships added to the festive vibe. And by the end of the evening, it was evident just how beloved Pegasus is to parents and kids alike, including Suzan Paek, Patricia Ford and Heather Dubrow. In all, partygoers gave close to $600,000 to help the school and provide financial aid for kids in need. Photos by Shalini Mattina
