Gastronomes gathered for Modern Luxury Orange County’s annual
To Live & Dine fete.
The Party Modern Luxury Orange County took over the lush property at The Nursery by Southwinds for its annual To Live & Dine party benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. Some 400 tastemakers came hungry to feast on fare from some of O.C.’s top eateries including Bourbon Steak, Habana, Nobu Newport Beach and Oak Grill. The scene Stylistas and dapper gents, including Carly Vidal Wallace, Briana Vartanian and husband James, Tyler Mounce and Johanna Felix, strolled under The Nursery’s twinkling lights as they voted for which restaurant had the best dish in the annual Chef’s Challenge. Live band Night Owl entertained while guests created take-home bouquets courtesy of Penelope Pots and sipped spirits from DesMaDre, Pomp & Whimsy and Peroni. The Highlights Red O Restaurant’s chef Anthony Berganza was crowned the night’s winner for his mouthwatering blue corn duck tacos. -Allison Mitchell
