On Wednesday, August 18thBaccarat celebrated the Orange County based members of the American Society of Interior Designers in conjunction with Riviera Orange County.
Before the event, Baccarat hosted an exclusive dinner for past ASID Presidents at Knife Pleat.The French restaurant gave diners the first preview of three specialty cocktails inspired by Baccarat - The Baccarat, Bring Harmonie, and Harcourt 1841 – which will remain on the Knife Pleat menu indefinitely.
Designers were invited to the company’s newly opened South Coast Plaza atelier – the first of its kind – for a unique cocktail and shopping experience. Baccarat’s experts showcased the French luxury crystal brand’s new boutique items, including their customizable lighting and workspace for designers to meet with their clients.
While listening to enjoyable guitar melodies, guests noshed on hors d'oeuvres and sipped on a Baccarat-inspired cocktail courtesy of Knife Pleat. Glasses of Whispering Angel rosé were tray passed throughout the evening and complimented the toasts given by Sally Burnside, VP of Sales for Baccarat North America, and Julia Alt, President of ASID. Guests left the event inspired with new ideas for their clients’ dream homes.
