3. The Ranch at Laguna Beach New Year’s Eve Party

Kick the night off at Oak Grill with an indulgent four-course feast that begins with a classic caviar tasting of sustainable King caviar with all the fixings. Entree options include sole meunière (with wild rice pilaf, swiss chard and toasted almonds), tournedos rossini (with seared foie, pommes puree, green beans and madeira caramel) or cacio e pepe with truffle. The sweet finish comes in the form of mocha almond opera cake. After dinner, stroll next door to Aqua Lounge for a black-tie bash featuring a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight, party favors and plenty of time on the dance floor. An opening reception will include Kona kampachi tartare and oysters on the half shell, while the main attraction offers roasted Morro Bay sablefish, smoked prime rib-eye and sweets like Dominican chocolate with crispy cocoa bits or an ivory-chocolate Champagne sphere.
