Toast the special dad in your life with these O.C. restaurant specials

1. Treat dad to a delicious steak dinner he won’t have to grill himself at Del Frisco’s Grill, where a 16 oz. 45-day dry-aged bone-out strip steak and perfectly paired Catena Malbec are on offer. Treat the rest of the fam to Quinn’s Filet Burger or moroccan-inspired pan-seared scallops. They’re guaranteed to love them almost as much as they love Dad. 4pm-10pm, prices vary based on selection, Irvine, 949.341.0376

2. Fashion Island Hotel is grilling up their own Father’s Day fun with a spectacular four-course prix fixe dinner menu at Oak Grill. Made just for him, the cauliflower leek soup, braised pork belly and surf and turf special featuring tomahawk steak and lobster will remind him how much you love him. To end the night, a round of old-fashion drumsticks with vanilla ice cream and candied peanuts. 4pm-10pm, $75 per adult, regular children’s menu available, Newport Beach, 949.760.4920

3. Just down the street, Fleming’s is celebrating dad all day with special brunch and dinner offerings. Kick the day off with a bountiful brunch of eggs Benedict with filet mignon or house made crab cakes. For dinner, a three-course feast reminds dad how much you love him with a 35 oz. prime tomahawk steak. On the beverage front, enjoy a premium bourbon tasting experience with Basil Hayden’s, Buffalo Trace and Knob Hill—all fit for a king—for an extra $20. 10am- 9pm, three-course dinner $99 per adult, Newport Beach, 949.720.9633

4. Celebrate Father’s Day with the family in The Backyard at Hotel Irvine. The culinary team will grill up favorites like whole roasted porchetta, rotisserie chicken and hot smoked barbecue brisket. Tell Dad he’s the apple of your eye with the Chuck Wagon dutch-oven apple pie or warm chocolate churros with Grand Marnier strawberries then toast him with an Old-Fashioned. The kiddos are in for a treat as well with a menu of chicken and waffles, tater tots and mini beef meatballs just for them. 11am-2:30pm, $65 per adult, $20 per child (ages 5 to 12), free to children ages 4 and under, 877.494.2012

5. It’s Father’s Day every night at The Ranch Restaurant and Saloon. Beginning June 15, treat Dad to his favorite things—steak, lobster, rare whiskey and dinner with you, of course. The surf and turf featuring grass fed beef tenderloin and South African lobster tail will make his mouth water. And to make his Father’s Day even more special, The Ranch has rolled out a limited-stock flight of bourbon from the Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery. 5pm-10pm, $135 per adult, Anaheim, 714.817.4200
