Sure, the food fills your belly, but these restaurants feed your soul too. They're serving up sweet charity in the community, and we can't get enough.
Sapphire Laguna's hearty dishes feed the body, mind and soul.
1. The Golden Truffle

Chef-owner Alan Greeley has the Midas touch: He co-founded Share Our Selves’ Celeb Chef Dinner (the 26th annual event was Nov. 5), and he’s contributed to all of the Cystinosis Research Foundation’s Natalie’s Wish events since its inception.

2. Haven Gastropub

Giving back enables your business to thrive—so says Executive Chef Greg Daniels, who found hope in March of Dimes after his daughter spent a month in the NICU. It’s why you’ll find him at the Signature Chefs Auction every year.

3. Pascal

Culinarian Pascal Olhats is an institution on the charitable scene. He’s now assisting OCLifeTV in its efforts to become a nonprofit. Another mammoth endeavor: Last month, he held the first Gray Event for the Save Elephant Foundation.

4. Sapphire Laguna

Thanksgiving Day, owner Azmin Ghahreman and his team will feed the staff at Mission Hospital and CHOC Children’s. And then there’s his health-focused Sapphire at School program!

5. Zov's

On the cusp of her restaurant group’s 30th anniversary, Zov Karamardian is partnering with OneOC to feed a MaxLove Project family every time a catering order of more than $250 is placed.
