5 Easter Brunches to Book Now

Hop on over to these O.C. favorites for a mid-morning munch.

Through April 8, The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel will play home to five oversize Easter eggs, all hand painted by local artists—from Trevor Mezak, James Galindo and Robin Hiers to Kim de los Reyes and Matt Parker. And after you’ve snapped photos of these whimsical masterpieces, head inside for The Ritz-Carlton’s Egg-ceptional Easter Brunch, where carving stations, traditional breakfast bites, live music and an Easter Bunny appearance will have you celebrating in style. 11am-3pm, $125 per adult, $62.50 per child, Dana Point, 949.240.2000

3. Pull up a seat on the newly-remodeled patio at Fleming’s at Fashion Island for a three-course prix fixe menu with your choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Our order? The housemade burrata salad followed by the signature eggs Benedict with filet mignon and New York cheesecake with fresh berries and chantilly cream to finish. And for those who like options, an a la carte menu will also be on offer. 4. Across the street, Fashion Island Hotel is cooking up its own morning of fun. The venue’s ballroom will transform into a vibrant Easter wonderland complete with live entertainment, face painting, egg decorating, photos with the Easter Bunny and more. Keep the whole family fueled for all the action with made-to-order crepes, seasonal salads, sweet treats and fare made just for the kiddos. 5. Make it a day of shopping and fabulous fare when you book a reservation at South Coast Plaza neighbor Water Grill.
