While globally sourced grub is nothing new in O.C., the trend has raged on thanks to fan favorites like Puesto, which opened its second Irvine location due to high demand for its satiating street tacos and innovative guacmole (think four different types, one of which is punched up with Parmigiano-Reggiano). Chef Xiangrui Chen continues to steal hearts (and mouths) at Sichuan eatery Meizhou Dongpo with his beloved Peking duck; and South Coast Plaza's Din Tai Fung has fans flocking for its out-of-this-world Shanghai-style soup dumplings, fried noodles, rice cakes and more.
